Overview
The Advanced Diploma of Travel and Tourism Package will provide you with a large range of operational and tourism management skills relevant to your career in the tourism industry. The types of skills and knowledge gained, including sales, marketing, product development, business planning, and financial management, will be suitable for use in a range of tourism areas including retail, travel, visitor information and events.
Course Structure
The course includes both classroom-based learning and practical training on the internationally-used Galileo Reservation System, as well as work placements within the tourism industry, for example at Travel Agencies, Tour Guide Operations and Event Planning companies.
Project-based learning is a large part of the final year of this package. You will manage a project, such as running an event, using the skills you have learnt throughout your studies.
